1) What kind of furniture does the Nest sell?

The Nest sells furniture from several manufacturers that keep step with current design trends. If you like what you see in those catalogs you receive from other stores, we think you’ll like our selection too. Note that the majority of our furniture is proudly made in America.

 

 

2) Who are your customers?

If you're reading this, we're hopeful that we'll shortly convert you to a customer! Generally speaking our customers have a sense of style, value quality, and most importantly recognize and appreciate a good deal.

 

 

3) Why such limited store hours?

If we're not helping folks with furniture, there's any number of other things that we - and likely you - would rather be doing. Additionally, keeping store hours to a minimum helps us squeeze out added costs.

 

 

4) How much can I save?

It varies a bit by manufacturer and even what you order, but generally speaking you'll see savings in the 20-50% range.

 

 

5) How does the order process work?

First, make sure you have made up your mind. Nest Furnishings has a no returns policy. Once you place your order we ask for a 50% deposit, the remainder to be paid before delivery. The manufacturer will get busy on your order and you can expect your order to be ready for shipment within 6-8 weeks from the date it is placed. The waiting period depends on the manufacturer. Also, expect an additional 2-3 weeks for freight delivery (i.e. from manufacturer to Nest Furnishings). Once your furniture arrives at the Nest, you can arrange for pick-up or delivery.

 

 

6) What are my payment options?

The Nest accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

 

 

7) Can I change or cancel my order?

If for any reason you want to make a change or cancel your order; you have 3 business days from the sales order date. Otherwise, the merchandise is yours. WE DO NOT accept returns or exchanges, therefore please make sure to take accurate measurements at home.

 

Also, make sure the color, dimensions, style, quantity, etc. are exactly as desired. In addition, verify that the size of the product you order will fit your desired location and through all door openings. The Nest is not responsible for size limitations.

 

 

8) What if something arrives damaged?

Merchandise that arrives at the Nest with manufacturer defects and/or damages will be repaired by a professional or replaced by the manufacturer. Damaged merchandise must be reported within 72 hours.

 

 

9) What are my options to get my furniture home?

Included in the price of your furniture from the Nest are fees to deliver your furniture to our warehouse. Customers may pick up their furniture during Wednesday or Saturday hours, or upon appointment.

 

If you prefer to have your furniture delivered, we’ve arranged discounted delivery rates with The Moving Man, a local moving service. For additional fees, The Moving Man can also move other furniture, set up beds, etc. Please note that any of these services should be arranged directly with The Moving Man.  Their phone number is 803-547-8813.

 

You are also free to make your own pick up arrangements - using your truck, a neighbor's minivan, or other delivery service of your choosing!

 

 

10) I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to begin—can you help me?

Yes, we have knowledgeable staff that can help you find, size, and coordinate furniture whether your space is completely empty or partially filled with pieces you'd like to keep.  Still not enough?  Give us a shout and we'll pass along some names of designers that can come to your home and provide you individualized service.
